Retail/e-commerce and consulting/business services are furthest along, with 28% saying their companies’ goals have been fully realized. Many consultants and industry experts will say that digital transformation is a journey that is never fully completed; nonetheless, completing a plan is a significant milestone. Of the industries that are coming close to completing digital transformation plans, 46% of respondents in manufacturing say their companies have realized at least 75% of their digital transformation goals, followed by 44% in construction and engineering.
