Market Trends The pandemic drove UCaaS adoption starting in 2020 because of a need to rapidly shift to remote work, but the reverberations from that event continue. ª The debate between hybrid work-from-home and return-to-office policies will continue among executives in 2024. The consensus seems to be leaning towards hybrid work models, with various reports suggesting that the share of full-time in-office workers is shrinking as hybrid work grows. From Collaboration to the Future of Work Where the drivers for UCaaS in the past were COVID-19 and cost savings, the rationale has shifted towards support for digital transformation and Future of Work.
